The founders of ReCOVER use their experience as athletic trainers to inform their restful services, implementing biohacking technology to help clients achieve 2-4 hours worth of rest in 30 minutes

One thing many people today can agree on is that they don’t get enough sleep, and when they do, it may not be very high quality. The ReCOVER relaxation center in New York City aims to change this, providing the means for its clients to sustain thorough sleep meant to support optimal mental and physical performance.

Clients can book sleep sessions at the center, starting with a 30-minute minimum. Through the use of special creams, blankets and sounds, the center claims even just half an hour of its top-notch shut-eye is equivalent to 2-4 hours of normal sleep, helping clients sleep efficiently and emerge refreshed.

The founders are former trainers who incorporate what they know about athletic performance with sleep techniques. For example, one of the treatments offered at the center is called NuCalm, a patented and FDA-approved technology that uses particular brainwave frequencies to induce a “pre-sleep” state during which neuromuscular repair takes place, and claims to result in improved athletic endurance, improved focus and hormone balance.

The wellness industry is experiencing enormous growth. One of the main elements of health that continues to challenge people, however, is getting a good night’s rest. ReCover hopes to help busy, modern consumers receive the benefits of restful sleep in a reduced amount of time. If the New York location is successful, the company plans on opening more centers around the country.
