In Brief

Thanks to WorkWave's routing APIs, Milkman was able to improve its delivery, strategizing routes to reduce time and eliminating errors to enable faster and more flexible service

One of the key aspects of online retail is enabling customers to receive their goods as quickly and conveniently as possible. Milkman is an Italy-based delivery service that helps retailers provide optimal last-mile delivery for online shoppers, and recently partnered with WorkWave, a New Jersey-based software company, to make its services even more efficient.

WorkWave recently published a case study detailing how it was able help Milkman improve delivery for digital shopping experiences. One key feature that the cloud-based service offered was route planning, which organized delivery logistics more efficiently and enabled Milkman to achieve high rates of on-time deliveries as well as cut down on address mistakes.

Mike Profit, WorkWave’s Chief Product Officer, says, “Our work with Milkman showcases how impactful route-planning software can be to a business looking to greatly increase its customer service levels.” Last-mile delivery is an increasingly important and differentiating aspect of a retailer’s value to its customers, which Milkman hopes to optimize using the cloud-based software solution.
