Old Navy Customers Receive Discounted Lyft Rides To Pick Up Their Online Orders
The activation promotes the use of Lyft's services while adding value for holiday customers of the apparel retailer by offering a $10 voucher to those who select in-store pickup this December
Many brands offer the ability for customers to buy items online and then pick them up in-store, saving them crucial holiday shopping time. Old Navy is aiming to promote its in-store pickup service by offering customers free transportation from ridehail company Lyft.
From December 15-22, Old Navy customers who use select the option of picking up in-store will receive a Lyft ride code valid for up to $10 each way to get to and from an Old Navy store. If orders are placed on December 22, riders can still use their codes through December 27, in case they need a few days to get the order.
The promotion was announced at an event in New York City’s Bryant Park, complete with carolers. “With the added benefit of Lyft, shoppers can avoid the burden of holiday driving and parking on two of the most popular shopping weekends before Christmas, resulting in less stressing, and more holiday-ing,” an Old Navy representative wrote in a press release.
