Personal Styling Site Helps Shoppers Discover K-Fashion Brands

Suggesty is hoping to make Korean apparel brands more accessible to American consumers, parlaying the overseas success of K-pop and K-beauty into fashion

Korean fashion designer Jee Won is beta testing a new styling website called Suggesty, a database of dozens of Korean fashion brands, hoping to capitalize on a growing interest among U.S. consumers.

The website and app are designed for consumer education on the K-Fashion landscape. Suggesty will provide consumers with a shoppable index of over 40 Korean brands ranging a large variety of styles and price points from $50 to $350. The site will emphasize quality, prioritizing composition, function and fit.

The program is currently only in its beta form but has the potential to unlock a new global market. Suggesty is slated to launch early in 2019.
