In an effort to align with more consumers' lifestyles, Hilton designed a suite that is thoroughly vegan, even down to the details of soy-silk curtains and pineapple-leather upholstery

International hospitality company Hilton Hotels and Resorts is going vegan: The brand recently premiered a fully veg-friendly suite that is the first of its kind at its Bankside location in London.

The suite was created in partnership with project developer Bompas & Parr as well as The Vegan Society and features furnishings that are ethically created and sourced, adhering to vegan restrictions. The chairs, headboards, cushions and even keycards of the vegan suite are made with a plant-based leather alternative Piñatex. The floors are bamboo and the curtains are made of a silk alternative that is cruelty-free and just as soft. Hotel residents are even given a pillow menu so they can select from organic buckwheat, millet husks and recycled bamboo orthopedic pillows.

This suite is kept vegan through and through, including the mini bar contents, housekeeping practices and complimentary pens. Hilton ultimately intends for the suite to showcase its engagement with and responsiveness to current consumer interests, reflecting increasing demand for particular lifestyle accommodations.
