Eating well can require a lot of time, energy and preparation. Grocery chain Publix is looking to help better equip customers to eat healthy by offering online cooking classes taught by chefs that use one pre-made item to build several meals that are balanced and simple to prepare.

The Aprons Cooking School is available through the Publix website for free and will start uploading live episodes once a month on January 12. The first episode will look at how to build three different meals using an already prepared roasted chicken. To provide greater interaction and usefulness to viewers, during the live class they can submits comments and questions to the chefs for them to respond to, in case they need clarification or more information.

The recipes and shopping lists for current and upcoming episodes are available on the Apron Cooking School website. For those who want an in-person demonstration, Apron Staff classes are available at Publix stores, which include meal tastings ranging from $45 to $65 each.
