Highlighting the agility of its business and flexibility of its delivery options, the e-tailer will set up an array of its pickup lockers on the festival grounds to meet attendees' in-moment needs

Online mega-retailer Amazon is bringing the convenience of its delivery lockers to festival goers at this year’s CoachellaAmazon Lockers, a secondary location for online customers to have their goods delivered to, will be installed at the festival grounds of the annual musical experience.

The Coachella Lockers will operate as the regular ones do: Amazon shoppers just put in the Locker location they want to retrieve from and the website sends a six-digit code for them to access its contents within three days of receiving it. Festival goers will be able purchase last-minute necessities like sunscreen and portable phone chargers while at the venue, as well as shop a Coachella-inspired shop front for festival fashion, accessories and camping gear.

This is the first temporary installation of Amazon Lockers at such an event. The activation also serves to showcase Amazon’s agility—installing an array of lockers for a quick weekend and capitalizing on consumers’ very specific in-moment needs.
