Amazon is continuing to expand its already significant reach. Hoping to up its appeal to vendors and marketers, the e-tailer is introducing a rewards program called Amazon Moments.

Moments is meant to act as a tool that marketers can utilize to create rewards for their customers. The idea is to compensate consumers for completing specific tasks, like watching episodes or making purchases. Gifts can range from physical gifts like products to digital rewards like access to new apps or other services.

Amir Kabbara, Amazon's head of digital marketing and consumer innovation, told Mobile Marketer, “With Moments, marketers can basically connect their digital and physical worlds with a few simple clicks,” Kabbara said. “They can create new types of campaigns that drive all the way from engagement from customers to paywall conversion, reactivation, loyalty and so on.” The service is now live in 100 countries and is available on iOS, Android and more.
