Called The High End, the department store's shop will feature a collection of cannabis-infused and wellness items from chocolate to joints

As legalized cannabis becomes more widely accepted, many retailers are looking to capitalize on the popularity of its various products and manifestations. One emerging segment of the marketplace is luxury cannabis-infused items, something legendary New York department store Barneys is looking add to its inventory with a cannabis shop inside its Beverly Hills location.

The store within the store, known as The High End, will feature items like lighters, ashtrays, pipes and rolling papers from manufacturers traditionally associated with luxury. The store will also feature products that actually contain marijuana, such as pre-rolled joints and infused chocolates.

Tattoo artist and co-founder of luxury cannabis label Beboe, Scott Campbell, says, “Barneys has never been shy about pushing creative boundaries in retail, and it makes perfect sense that they would be the first to support and elevate cannabis to new levels.” While the products will initially only be offered in the Beverly Hills store, some items will also be available online.
