Sporting goods brand Intersport and activewear brand Nike are teaming up for a motivational podcast. The content will be available in 26 countries and will feature advice from Coach Lee, a marathon enthusiast and fitness influencer, aimed at encouraging amateur runners in their pursuit of the sport.

For Intersport, the podcast is part of its partnership with the creative agency Harriman Steel in its mission to reposition its business, and for Nike it is part of an ad campaign for the brand’s new Epic React line. The podcast topics will feature personal fitness stories, advice on becoming a runner and encouragement during workouts.

Brands are continuing to invest more in their digital platforms, as these enable them to reach younger, influential demographics where they already are—online. Podcasts in particular have continued to grow in popularity, which Nike and Intersport hope to capitalize on with this release.
