As Amazon continues to infiltrate the consumer appliance market, its automatic refill capability is now available on LG products

LG home appliance brand is enhancing its Wi-Fi connected wares with Amazon Dash functionality. Amazon Dash is a service from the parent company that automatically delivers supplies like soap or other recurring refills for washers, dryers and other major appliances, and is already partnered with brands like GE and Samsung.

LG appliances will now be listed on the LG app, SmartThinQ, which is linked to customers' Amazon accounts. As the appliances are Wi-Fi-enabled, they will order automatically when supplies are low, allowing the customer to select a brand of choice ahead of time.

LG currently produces around 50 different appliances. Amazon is slated to equip the entire supply line of products in the U.S., continuing its mission to dominate the consumer appliance market.
