Using technology to bridge classic convenience stores with modern buying behavior, Moby is taking the brick-and-mortar experience on the road and to remote locations

In an age of ecommerce, Moby Mart is hoping to breathe life into the local store experience by merging next-gen tech with drop-in shopping. Already blazing new trails with its self-driving Alpha pod mobile convenience stores, Moby is now allowing staffless retail to take place in even the most remote locations with the off-the-grid Moby Psi.

App-enabled and AI-assisted shopping, smart-shelf inventory systems, store memberships, and sound, security, and temperature control systems all help to make the Moby PSI shopping experience seamless for both owner/operators and customers. The one-stop pod is pre-made, easy to deploy, and powered with with solar panels and batteries, thus able to go completely off-grid while staying connected to the cloud.

In addition to its small footprint and flexible and friendly features, Moby and the Moby PSI aim to equip local stores fighting competition from larger big-box retailers and ecomms with a tool to enable greater agility, meeting consumers wherever they are.
