The Empathy Suite is a concept villa from Las Vegas's The Palms Resort designed by Damien Hirst, blending extravagance with trending consumer interest in sustainability and wellness

Las Vegas is known for having stunning, over-the-top experiences, and The Palms Casino Resort is no exception: Designed by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst, the Empathy Suite is an ultra-high-rolling villa that contains modern art pieces.

The villa is designed to feel more like a store, with each aspect of the room being its own art piece. There is a curved bar that has been filled with medical waste, a pool table with spin art and a pill cabinet filled with diamonds—all meant to be functional as well as Instagram-worthy. Not all of the aspect of the room are there for flash, however: There is also a healing salt room, two massage rooms and a private fitness center for a focus on self-care and relaxation.

The suite is the most expensive in North America, from $100,000 per night. Ultimately, the Empathy suite is meant to blend high design with functionality, all while showcasing next-generation luxury for a market of wellness-conscious consumers.
