The networking website will take over a London pub, where job seekers can apply for positions, take headshots and chat with professionals

Searching for a new career can be difficult. Professional network Linkedin has proven to be an invaluable resource for those seeking a new position, though has remained mainly online—until now: the website's recent popup aims to help job seekers do their networking IRL, taking over a pub in the Shoreditch district of London.

Visitors to the popup, called The Linked Inn, can have a professional headshot taken at the bar, and there will be experts on site to offer career advice. In addition, guests can apply for open job vacancies on the spot.

LinkedIn career expert, Darain Faraz, explains, “By engaging your network and sharing, posting and connecting with your LinkedIn community, you can get closer to the job you want That’s why we’ve set up The Linked Inn—to bring this to life and demonstrate the job-seeking process needn’t be as time-intensive as you might think.” And of course, in addition to bridging the gap between on and offline job searching, this activation also serves to help LinkedIn grow its own network.
