Schnucks Markets is upgrading the grocery shopping experience with an app that will design a shopping itinerary using customers' lists, automatically applying coupons for the lowest prices

St. Louis-based grocery chain Schnucks Markets is upgrading its mobile experience to help store customers find products for the best price. The revamped Schnucks Rewards app includes a new shopping list feature that will organize itself based on store layout, making shopping a quicker and more organized experience for customers.

Like before, customers can still add an item to their list either by typing in the name, scanning a product barcode or clicking an in-app ad, and receive a personalized list itinerary. As the name implies, this app will be linked to the Schnucks Rewards program and will automatically apply any digital coupons to the products on the list, updating pricing in real time.

The upgraded app even features a wellness element by providing info on products that are gluten free, organic and heart healthy, reflecting consumer interests. The app is currently available on both Android and iOS devices as well as laptops and desktops.
