The DTC and digital-native furniture brand popular among millennials is slated to debut its first permanent physical outpost in the fall of 2019, providing customers with a fully connected experience inspired by its ecommerce flagship

Digital-first furniture retailer Wayfair is launching brick and mortar this year. Projected for the fall of 2019, Wayfair's first physical store will open in Natick Mall in Massachusetts.

This retail location will offer shoppers a large range of Wayfair's inventory as well as consultations with a home and interior design expert. Beyond these offerings, store shoppers can also enjoy a connected experience, ordering online and shipping to home directly. “With the opening of our new retail store, we are offering our customers a new way to enjoy Wayfair’s exceptional shopping experience as we continue to transform the way people shop for their homes,” said Niraj Shah, CEO, co-founder and co-chairman of Wayfair.

While this will be Wayfair's first permanent location, this summer the brand will also be rolling out a series of popup locations. These temporary shops will serve to test the waters for offerings at the permanent location, featuring a selection of seasonal and decorative pieces available for immediate purchase.
