The mega online retailer's Key for Garage feature lets Prime customers link their account with MyQ's garage security technology to safely let in Amazon deliveries

Amazon is making delivery even easier for members of its Prime services. The e-tailer is debuting Key for Garage, a service that can be installed in the homes of Prime members so that their packages can be delivered into the safety of their garage.

The service will only be able to operate with garage doors that are myQ-capable, requiring customers to link their Amazon and myQ accounts for quick and convenient deliveries. If customers need further peace of mind while using Amazon's Key for Garage, they can also add and link an Amazon Cloud Cam to keep tabs on deliveries with real-time recordings.

“We know it is important to keep innovating to make delivery as convenient as possible for customers, which is why we’re excited to now have Key for Garage available,” said Rohit Shrivastava, GM of Key by Amazon. “With this new option, members can truly unlock the convenience of the Amazon experience.”
