The athletic apparel retailer is launching the Wellness Collective, hosting monthly healthy lifestyle-focused events at Athleta stores across the country, as well as an accompanying digital content hub

Performance apparel brand Athleta is working with health media company Well+Good to roll out a new program focusing on making wellness more accessible for consumers. Wellness Collective is a partnership that will bring together trailblazing female thought leaders on a monthly basis to help fans and followers think about the many dimensions of healthy living.

The goal of the collective is to fuel womens' overall health and athleticism. The program kicks off in Athleta's NYC store, where the brand will host monthly interactive workshops that help attendees shape their wellness goals and incorporate new learnings into their existing habits.

The president and CEO of Athleta, a B corporation that explicitly focuses on social good, said in a statement that “connecting women and girls through a healthy active lifestyle to learn, grow and inspire each other is at the heart of our mission of empowering them to reach their limitless potential.” The Wellness Collective's digital hub will also put each month's takeaways online as video and social media resources, allowing community access from anywhere.
