The athleisure retailer is launching a purported 'selfcare' line of beauty and body products like 'sweat reset face moisturizer' and 'anti-stink deodorant,' designed specifically for athletic consumers

Women's athletic apparel brand Lululemon is expanding into the beauty space. The industry is currently one of the fastest growing markets, and as part of its efforts to grow its brand, Lululemon is slated to debut a line of personal care products curated with its athletic consumer in mind.

The collection includes products like moisturizer, balms, deodorant and dry shampoo. In accordance with conscious consumerism, the items are cruelty-, paraben- and sulfate-free, emphasizing natural ingredients. Because Lululemon is a fitness company at heart, its container size and packaging are created with a typical athlete's needs.

In designing the collection, the brand used insights from its athletic consumers to design a function, feel and format most appropriate to their lifestyle. Lululemon has plans to further the production of the line through partnerships with athletic-friendly brands.
