Founded by Cyrus Summerlin and Max Hellerstein, the platform's videos includes a cast of Upright Citizens Brigade, using sketch comedy to create custom content for a multitude of brands. The brand banks on comedic, cheeky scripts, bright colors and character-driven plots with a button available in the video to press anytime for viewers to purchase items.

Even more, in exchange for engaging with app content such as playing its games, consumers can earn ‘Clout,' the app's own currency, to use toward future purchases. Down to Shop accepts Apply Pay, credit cards and has found that 25% of app users have purchased something already.
