The Apple Watch Hermès Series 4 is centered around health and wellness-focused apps to integrate mindful living into wearers' daily routines

Technology meets fashion in the new Apple Watch Hermès Series 4, the product of a balanced partnership between the respective tech and luxury brands. The smart watch combines the cutting-edge features of Apple and the sleek, high-end design of Hermès  for a device that helps wearers stay connected as much as it also helps remind them to disconnect from tech.

The idea was to create a product that encouraged consumers to take time each day to go off-grid and connect to their surroundings rather than notifications. Accordingly, The Series 4 has a focus on wellness, including fitness, health and breathing apps to easily integrate self care into wearers' daily routines.

The project has been years in the making: “After I met Pierre-Alexis [Dumas] some years ago, the idea of working with Hermès struck me as entirely natural and logical—almost inevitable,” Apple's chief design officer Jony Ive tells Wallpaper. “We have included additional features and enhancements to help us to live an overall healthier, more active, more balanced life,” Ive says.
