The establishment is partnering with Man Cave Health to encourage more male patients to complete prostate checkups with a sports bar-like men's health space

New York hospital Mount Sinai and health nonprofit Man Cave Health are teaming to create a new sort of place for men to receive check-ups and education on prostate health.

The main theme of this new health care space is sports, where the waiting room will be decked out in memorabilia from various New York teams, everything from football to hockey. There will be supple leather couches for game viewing and bar stools where customers can charge their phones and soak up the sports bar feel Man Cave Health wants to create.

This clinic is just the start for Man Cave Health, currently seating a dozen patients at a time and averaging almost 125 visits a week. The nonprofit has hopes to expand its clinics to the rest of the country and make appointment booking easier with an app and a 24 hour hotline.
