In an effort to bring more benefits to its loyal customers, phone company Verizon is enhancing its rewards program. The upgrade takes the form of the new Verizon Up program, and features a simplified structure where customers will receive a reward credit every month after they pay their bill, versus every $300 spent.

Customers can also use their credits for a variety of special benefits, like credit toward dollars off their next smartphone, a variety of items from brands like Amazon and Uber and Super Tickets for cool experiences like concerts and sporting events. Verizon Up will also reward customers with bonuses, offered weekly, and sometimes even daily.

As the company's vice president of consumer marketing, Angie Klein, comments, “Our customers wanted more rewards, more often, and we’re delivering. Verizon Up has always been simple and free—and now it’s even simpler and brings customers even more value. It’s just a great way for us to say thank you to our customers.”
