The elevated dog park merges with a fast-casual cafe, giving members the chance to relax and sip margaritas as well as bond with fellow canine lovers at two locations in Texas

Walking the dog is important for keeping canine companions at their healthiest, but it isn't always the most convenient or interesting experience for their owners, especially since dog parks typically have little in the way of entertainment for humans. Hospitality and restaurant management company FreeRange Concepts is trying to meet this need with MUTTS Canine Cantina, which is a hybrid of dog park and casual bar designed to elevate the dog-walking experience.

With two locations in the Dallas-Fortworth area, Mutts serves food and  beverages to dogs and their own owners who want to take their pups out while engaging with their local community. The goal was to design an experience with millennials in mind, who appreciate the chance to take their pets with them wherever they go, and without needing to hire a petsitter or other help.
