For 12 weeks, New Yorkers can play along with other Citi Bikers on social media and on the road as they decipher weekly riddles so they can win prizes

Sponsored by parent company Lyft, The Citi Bike Summer Scavenger Hunt 2019 is testing New Yorkers' problem-solving skills as well as their familiarity with the urban jungle. Instead of simply biking from point A to point B, or to the office, Citi Bike riders can engage in a city-wide contest that takes place on every summer Wednesday.

The hunt allows the brand to engage with consumers through a fun activity they can look forward to every week of what has been a hot and greuling summer. And there's prizes.

After posting a puzzle, Citi Bike expects participants to pedal to the correct location included in the puzzle, and post a photo with their Citi Bike to social channels in order to nab a prize.
