To celebrate New York Fashion Week, Coach is diving into its archives and inviting visitors to rent and restore select pieces

Coach is celebrating New York Fashion Week in style with a week-long, interactive pop-up shop at the luxury brand's Madison Avenue location. Created in collaboration with the founder of legendary Paris boutique Colette, the pop-up will also mark the debut of Coach's new rental program.

Dubbed The Coach Originals, the pop-up features some of the bag maker's iconic archival pieces, bringing back some of the classics from the 60s and 70s like the Duffle and the Courier. Although the shop is only popping in for the week of September 7 to 15, shoppers will be able to experience the history of the brand and even take pieces home with them through Coach Rented, which loans vintage bags to shoppers.

Visitors can also become a part of the history by designing their own bags with the launch of Coach Create, which allows people to personalize an original bag. A new service called Coach Cares will also launch at the flagship, which cleans and restores bags in-shop.
