A bar inspired by the NBC sitcom is popping up in Chicago, including bites from Sweetums and JJ's Diner

If this summer seemed unusually full of food-centered pop-ups based on popular TV shows, well, get ready for fall. At Replay Lincoln Park, a Chicago-based bar and entertainment center, there's another pop-up on the way, this time centered around the beloved NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. Starting August 30, the bar will be transformed into the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.

The show, which premiered just over 10 years ago, follows the antics of government workers in Pawnee—not too far from Chicago. Installations and photo ops inside Replay include Parks and Rec‘s most recognizable locations, including the government office, Li’l Sebastian’s stable and the infamous pit.
