Sasha is the co-founder and CEO of LendUp, a tech startup that is providing accessible and socially responsible credit options to people whose loan requests have been denied by traditional banks. Through a “Lend Ladder” program, people “move up” and can borrow larger sums at lower rates as they to pay off their smaller loans. Sasha has spent his career in the financial sector; prior to founding LendUp, he was a senior vice president at Citi Ventures, Vice President at Citibank’s Consumer Division, a microfinance technology consultant for the Grameen Foundation and a microfinance technology analyst at the World Bank. He has his MBA from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
