Derek Dykens is a retail and digital enthusiast. He is currently the Retail Business Development Manager for Cisco. Prior to that he held the role of Retail Practice Advisor where he focused on strategies within Cisco aimed at keeping up with the changing retail environment. Before working with Cisco, Derek worked at Lexmark as a Consultant and a Global Retail Industry Manager. Prior to that he was a business analyst with Target, where he focused on in-store digital strategies for the marketing and omnichannel guest experience team. Derek attended Michigan Technological University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. He describes himself as a "passionate millennial."
