You Can Make Anything Out of LEGOs — Even a Camera

Yes, you can make a functioning camera out of LEGO bricks and a few other components. No, nobody has done it in a standard two-by-two brick..until now.

Colarado State University student Ryan Howerter studies graphic design and loves LEGOs both because they are fun and because of the elegant design of the incredibly popular toy line. When he read about how Italian photography student Francesco Capponi made a functioning pinhole camera in a single pine nut, he responded with a “Challenge Accepted” that would make Barney Stinson proud.
