Key Trends Driving Light’s Use As A Communication Tool

PSFK’s Future of Light report showcases a range of lighting innovations that are positively impacting life around the world. Through the addition of light, our cities become more vibrant and livable and our homes become more personal and responsive. Light builds communities, creates broader economic opportunities and  has the power to heal.

One of the four major themes featured in the report is called Enlightened Communication, which explores the solutions which investigate the way light can be used as a communication tool, either visually conveying information through color, design and frequency or as a medium for transmitting data over distances.
