Elliptic Labs introduced the “Multi Layer Interaction” (MLI) tool, a new development in their ultrasonic touchless gesturing technology. Supplementing previous gesture-based navigation functionality, MLI allows device users to illicit different responses from – and thereby, perhaps, more easily use – their ultrasonic-enabled devices based on the distance between a user’s hand and the device.
