Scaling Customization for a Mass Audience
Nikki Kaufman, the CEO and founder of earphone customization company Normal, discussed the importance of scaling made-to-order production for mass audiences at PSFK’s Future of Retail conference in New York. She says:
I like to call it this Goldilocks world, where things are too hot or too cold or a little bit too big or too small. Maybe it’s close enough, but is it ever really close enough? For me, the answer is no.
