At PSFK 2015, Dennis Mortensen presents x.ai, the smart personal assistant designed to make scheduling and managing meetings easier. x.ai, affectionately named Amy, is a developing technology that can magically engage over email as a human-to-human like experience. The CEO explains the potential of what a democratized, virtual PA could do for both an individual and office environment.

Given the problem of scheduling conflict and the expense of a physical personal assistant, artificial intelligence is a next step solution to power more efficiency and productivity in the workspace. Including amy@x.ai in the email chain on cc lets you send or respond to a meeting request, and then step back from the back and forth until a date and time has been decided upon. Amy has the capacity to go into a calendar and schedule appointments, replacing the place and forth discussion between two busy people.
