Pokia: It’s For Youuu!

If you’re not so worried about getting the latest smart phone then we’ve got the perfect gadget for you: The Pokia is an old-school phone handset that attaches to a cell phone. And, it works. And they’re available on eBay!

British designer Nicholas Roope scavenges for weighty phone handsets from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s and wires them to work with a cell phone. Remember the time when you could walk along the street pretending to be on a call on your cell phone and people would watch with envy: those days have gone - but imagine the looks you’ll get when you have to pull your handset from your back pocket when a call comes in on the street in Lower East Side!!

And I thought my first Nokia was a brick. Brilliant..think I might just have to get one fo these for old times sake..Reminds me of Delbert Wilkins from the old Lenny Henry show! Remember that phone in the car?

oh no - retirement

Caught up on all of my emails today. I feel so out of synch with everything while I’m out here. I just don’t seem to have a routine. I’ve got to get into one. Great to hear PSFK is going better than imagined. Infact…
