In the UK, the top fear from 1,000 10 to 18 year olds is… climate change.
The survey was carried out by the Department of Skills and Education and resulted in the following:
- 24% climate change;
- 19% crime and violence;
- 18% nominated terrorism;
- 12% lack of housing around the globe;
- 8% problems facing developing countries.
