Two new laundry services have opened up in New York City aimed at busy professionals – one focuses on their eco-friendliness, the other on their fragrant delivery.
The first, Slate, is a new all-inclusive laundry service for NYC residents available through the web – sign up for a weekly fee, choose a time and they’ll send a hamper to take part. Daily Candy says:
Slate is perfection-obsessed — from their ecofriendly cleaning technologies to sleek packaging techniques… your clothes are delivered — wrapped up, tagged, and good as new. Slate even includes a free gift — usually some cool, local thing the team found and wants to share with you.
The other laundry service is Laundry Spa – another pick up service started by two busy lawyers. There want you to feel like you’ve been to the spa when you get your (fragrant) clothes returned. Apartment Therapy says:
They do your laundry and return it shrink wrapped and snuggly fit
in a really cute laundry bag that looks like a tote. I just got my
clothes back yesterday and I just can’t get over how great they look!!

I actually signed up for the Slate experience and I have to say that Im in love with the service! I recommend it to anybody who loves their clothes and wants them getting a pampered unique service… its very fashionably New York… mmmmm they smell so good! best, Barbara

Flat Rate Cleaners and Slate are NOTHING compared to the Husky Express http://www.huskyexpress.com They have next day delivery for both wash dry fold and dry cleaning. Delivery is FREE and dry cleaning costs as low as $1.75 an item. Not to mention laundry plans designed to save customer money. They are located in Boston though but on their way to servicing nationally. Check them out! Tell your friends! I highly recommend them =)
