A site built by chessmaster Vladidslav Tkachiev and his brother, aims to boost the image of Chess by adding a little glamour, the New York Times reports. Tkachiev’s www.1wcbc.com is the home of World Chess Beauty Contest and features Chess superstars such as the Russians Alexandra Kosteniuk (pictured) and Maria Manakova; and Aussie Vanessa Reid.
