Dark Futurism via Saab

Dark Futurism via Saab

By Dave Pinter on March 14, 2006

Debuted at Geneva recently, we’re still scratching our heads trying to believe this came from Saab (GM). The Aero X harkens back to what makes concept cars great, superficiality. The Aero X though looks forward and projects what may be, unlike the crop of cars at Detroit which looked back and remembered what was. Saab’s view is sexy and dark. We’re seeing lots of darker views of the future cropping up elsewhere recently. Dubstep is all the rage in the UK, taking a darker hi-tech look at dub music. Another Philip K. Dick novel is due soon for theatres soon too. A scanner darkly looks at LA in the future if the drug war is lost.
