Check out the slick Snickers InstantDef site starring the Black Eyed Peas where you can view a mini-web-series starring the band about the fight against corporate media to save hip hop.
The plot has the BEP turned into super mutants through an accident at the Snickers factory and they take on the mission to save hip hop from corporate media shills and phoneys.
Will it sell more
Snicker bars? Don’t know, cheesy but fun.

This one is way off the BS meter. We are supposed to believe that Black-Eyed-Peas are against corporate hip-hop? They have shilled for the N.B.A., Best Buy, G.M. and countless movie sound tracks. Not mention they are fighting big hip-hop while on a website that is owned by a large company? I think Snickers/Mars are way off on this one.

This is ridiculous. The black eyed peas represent everything corporate about the Hip Hop culture. This is one group that has defined the term ’sell out.’ Their music is stereotypical unintelligent nonsense that demoralizes this otherwise rich and vibrant culture. Shame on them for claiming to be real Hip Hop.
