Men In Aprons

Electrolux, the Swedish appliance maker have commissioned a novel based around cooking and cleaning in a bid to connect with young single ‘domestically challenged’ men, many of whom live alone but ignore traditional television advertising. The company are hoping that this new approach will strike a chord with the undomesticated and persuade them to put down the xbox control and delve in to a literary world of “two twentysomething men navigating the maze of work, relationships and household appliances.”

Apparently “It also contains unique hints and tips sections to help you run your own home in style.” Not sure I can see it being a bestseller, but the company are hoping to sell 4,000 copies so the goal may well be realistic at only £6.99!
