Miss Sixty opens first hotel

By Dave Pinter on August 11, 2006

Seems the boutique hotel trend shows no signs of slowing down (the physical ones we mean). More evidence comes by way of the newly opened Miss Sixty Hotel in Northern Italy. Sporting a pretty unique and ‘on brand’ exterior, the rooms were each outfitted by a cast of 30 individual artists.

The overall design was concieved by Studio63 who also handles some of their shop design. The white exterior facade can be altered with projected color lighting. The rooms themselves further promote playful voyeuristic interactions. The hotel by providing web cameras so guests, if they wish, can interactively get to know each other.

Sixty Hotel aims to be a four star chain. No details as to where future locations might be.
