
A new report from comScore outlines how 29% of European internet users are logging on through their mobile phones – compared with 19% of U.S. users.
Ranked by countries:
- Germany / Italy – 34%;
- France – 28%;
- Spain – 26%;
- U.K. – 24%.
In the U.S., users opt for portals like Google, Yahoo and MSN but the
Europeans are more likely to use their carriers platforms like
Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile. Another interesting stat is that Nokia holds 50% of the European market and only 17% in the U.S. – the most popular mobile provider stateside is Motorola but with only 26%.
