Wii Vs. Xbox Vs. PS3

Just look at the smile on that woman’s face. We went to the opening party of the Wired Holiday store in NYC and we think we can work out just by looking at these photos which game console is going to be the big hit on December 25.

This picture is of a guy playing the Xbox. He’s a classic gamer-dude (We didn’t even have to ask him to wear his hat like that ;) – there he stands hunched in silence battling another player stood in similar pose beside him. Their friends have left and will meet them in the bar.

This picture is of the PS3. It was just left alone until this girl went to have a look. She poked at the controller to see if it would do anything.

Later another two girls try to work out what it is. Another missed opportunity for the gamer-dudes still engrossed in their Xbox 360 game.

And finally the Wii. The Wii is simply inclusive and accessible.

This woman is playing tennis. With that little white stick she’s hitting a ball on the screen in the same way she’d hit a ball on the court. The smiles win it for us: Wii is the winner.
