Hoping to bring a better understanding between Israelis and Palestinians, a new project called Face2Face is attempting to illuminate the similarities between the conflicting neighbors by photographing people on both sides and posting massive images on the separation wall. They plan to take portraits of Palestinians and Israelis
doing the same job and then "post them face to face, in huge formats, in
unavoidable places, on the Israeli and the Palestinian sides."

The project is not sponsored or authorized by "any state, NGO, political party, yogurt brand, or lobby."

Their site reads:

In a very sensitive context, we need to be clear.  We are in favor of
a solution for which two countries, Israel and Palestine would live
peacefully within safe and internationally recognized borders.

Today, "Face to face" is necessary.  Within a few years, we will come back for "Hand in hand".
