The thing about offering your album for next to nothing is that everyone downloads it, listens to it and then discusses it online. We’ve never seen Wired ever take time to discuss “which track is best” on their blog before – and without the freedom of the music, it would have never happened.

Yesterday, at least ten of my instant messaging contacts were making reference to “In Rainbows” in their status away messages. I’ve never seen so much buzz about an album release across people of such different tastes.
