Tattoo Denim: Levi’s Laser Etched Jeans

As reported by PSFK’s Amanda Gore yesterday, tattoos have never been more fashionable, appearing everywhere from a Vogue editorial spread to a Gaultier runway show to a feature article in the NY Times. Apparently Levi’s is one step ahead. They’ve just released a new line of laser-etched jeans that’s supposed to act as extra skin for those who have run out of room on their own bodies. Or, perhaps, those not ready to make the commitment to get a real tattoo. Or, even more likely, those who just want a really cool pair of jeans.
