Audeo Allows People To Talk Without Speaking

Dan Gould
  • 17 march 2008

By thinking about speaking words, you activate subtle responses in your vocal chords. The Audeo converts these nerve impulses and translates them into computerized speech. Ambient Corporation developed this “telepathic” new technology to assist people who aren’t able to speak and have even used Audeo to control motorized wheelchairs. This could also be a welcome relief from all those inconsiderate, overly loud cell phone talkers.
