Gourmet Ketchup: Grown Not Made

Heinz is to launch an upmarket version of their rather popular red sauce in the UK. Their Special Blend gourmet ketchup will sell for three times the price of the regular variety and will be made from 12 “plump” tomatoes, spices, sea salt, Demerara sugar, cayenne pepper and lemon juice. The label will also include the words ‘Grown Not Made’ on the label to highlight that the folk at Heinz ingredients come from the ground.

Along with the launch, Heinz have released a number of recipe postcards including Filet Mignon on Toast with Special Blend jus, Pork Belly with Special Blend Glaze and of course the Gourmet Burger.
