Prix Pictet Sustainability Photo Award: Water

The shortlist of photographers for this years Prix Pictet award have been posted. This years theme was water and photographers were challenged to capture it’s abundance or lack of. The goal of the competition is to use photography to bring the message of sustainability to a global audience and mobilise public opinion for change. 18 finalists made the cut including Edward Burtynsky, David Maisel, and famed National Geographic Magazine cover photographer Reza Deghati. A winner will be announced at the end of October based on the decision of a jury and votes from the general public.
